WHY DO WE MAKE THREE DIFFERENT BRANDS OF KNIVES:
We make three brands so that we can provide collectors with a wider variety of knives to choose from.
GREAT EASTERN CUTLERY - They are the high end knives made from 440c Stainless Steel more expensive handle materials.
NORTHFIELD - Medium priced knives made of 1095 Carbon Steel instead of Stainless Steel.
TIDIOUTE (“tiddy-oot") - They are the less expensive knives we produce using 1095 Carbon Steel

Why is "Titusville Iron Works" Stamped on the tang of some of the knives?
The "Titusville Iron Works" stamp is used to denote that the knife blades are made out of Carbon Steel.

The words "Cyclops Steel Works" stamped on the blade means that the blades are stainless steel.
